Trama
Nel XVI secolo, nelle Cevenne, un mercante di nome Michael Kohlhaas vive una vita soddisfacente e tranquilla. Un giorno, però, è vittima di un ingustizia da parte di un nobile: l'uomo, così, costituisce un esercito e mette il paese a ferro e fuoco per vedersi riconosciuti i suoi diritti.
