Trama
Myra Leeds (Angela Lansbury) uccide il marito apparentemente per legittima difesa. Durante il processo l'avvocato Craig Carlson (Raymond Burr), che è anche l'amante della donna, riesce a farla scagionare, convincendo la giuria della sua innocenza. Poi però emerge una realtà ben diversa.
